Job Description
We are seeking a part-time consultant to ensure smooth software installation for all Relasoft applications. Working with a team of software professionals, you will provide guidance to experienced programmers to ensure that the systems are deployed in a timely and reliable manner.
Special comments
This highly specialized position requires an expert level of knowledge, proven by years of related experience.
Responsibilities
Preparing installation packages for various Relasoft applications;
Installing server and client components;
Troubleshooting installation and network security issues;
Scripting unattended installations;
Personality
The candidate must be an honest person, have excellent communication skills, be able to work under time pressure and,
when necessary, for long hours.
Technical qualifications
The candidate must possess an expert level of knowledge in the following areas:
MS Net Frameworks, architecture and utilities;
Solid experience in installation of applications developed in Visual Studio .Net 2003 and 2005, and Visual Studio 6;
Configuring applications to run of networks. DLL conflict resolution. Application versioning;
In-depth understanding of network security, identifying and resolving issues caused by insufficient permissions.
Familiarity with services installation, registration and troubleshooting is a definite asset.
Location and Travel
The consultant is expected to work from his office connecting to clients’ sites remotely. However, some travel may be necessary in the USA and Canada.
